Short one. Why oh why would someone code the toolbar to show the ruler tool if you type Shift-R??? It doesn’t happen all the time but it does happen…Computers are dumb…they execute code. If the programmer is dumb enough, no computer is going to help fix his stupidity (autocomplete isn’t a computer…it’s a feature written by smarter programmers so it doesn’t count). Why would you, the developer of said toolbar who left in this little bug that only shows up when the Moon is full and someone farts in the Gobi Desert, think to use an extremely common key combination to make this stupid ruler tool show up (okay, I like the tool but I’m annoyed with this bug so…).
Here’s a tip: either DON’T use a hot key combo or DO use something obscure enough that you won’t accidently trigger it every time you need to type Randy Rides Richard’s Rumble Ride…which is a very common phrase for most people out there…
