Peugeot did a great job bringing Nissan back from the brink but that was because of Ghosn. I don't know if Fiat has their own Ghosn that might be able to kick start Chrysler. You want them to innovate, well that's a damn good way of getting it done. Fiat has come up with some great cars, mechanically speaking, in the past. That's to say, they run great and are efficient but they need a little work in the design department, in my opinion anyway. Combining the experience of these two automakers may very well yield some great cars in the not to distant future. I have no sympathy for GM. They sealed their own fate years ago.
